Gamejam: One more round
(Try not to shoot yourself)

Made for the 23rd Creative jam, I collaborated with a team of 6 for 48h to create this fun little Russian roulette card battler made in Unity.
My roles were:

The theme of the jam was 'The last chance' which we thought fit very nicely with Russian roulette, since it's your last chance every time you pull the trigger.
The objective of the card selection round is to increase the odds of your opponent shooting themselves while decreasing your own odds. The positive effect cards are applied to yourself while the negative effect cards are automatically applied to your opponent.







I was the game designer who took over the UI, systems and technical design of the project. Below is a depiction of what I did specifically
Pitched the quadrant selection system and its accompanying table rotation. This also put the input challenge in my hands.

Designed required UI icons, their functionalities, their placement and which scripts access them.
Designed the cards and their uses. I also assisted programmers by teaching them about Unity and it's animation systems.
Designed player feedback, gameplay systems and core gameplay loops.
